Love running this loop! I go a couple times a week and used to enjoy bringing my dog. Had to stop taking her because every time I brought her she’d get a tick or two. I’ve even found some on myself! Watch for snakes and even coyotes if you bring a little dog. A couple weeks ago I even saw a deer which was a first.

Nice two mile hike. Love that it is a loop. We've seen coyotes here. However, definitely watch for ticks, a friend was most likely bit by a tick on our hike here.

Went around 4:30pm and completed the loop by 5:15pm. Almost nobody around, very quiet which was nice. Everything is yellow and brown at the moment so don't come expecting luscious green pastures. I wouldn't call this a hike as it is mostly flat with one hill; more of a nature walk without shade. Nice if you want to get out of the house for a while.

I love this trail. It's a pretty easy hike for beginners like me, and the paths are pretty clean. There are little path markers with interesting facts, and you can expect to see lots of wildlife. We saw lizards, dozens of bird species, and lots of evidence of others. It does not have any shade so wear that sunscreen. It's not too steep, but there are some hills to challenge some.

I have a photo of a sign that indicates that dogs are allowed.
Parking is located across shopping plaza on other side of traffic circle. When approaching from 405 off ramp at traffic circle do not make round towards to plaza, go straight. There are two parking areas on a left hand side. You need the 2nd one which is close to Community Center. Just to be closer to Trail.
No, it's very open and spacious so there's never a crowd and plenty of free parking.
Yes. Free parking on both sides of the street. There's more parking across from the trail.
Depends on how much rain. If it is muddy it will be closed.
