My granddaughter and I went to Il Fornaio to speak with their wedding coordinator about a wedding reception for 75 people. Maricela was so nice and seems easy to work with. She answered all of our questions. We decided to stay and have lunch. It was delicious. Started with an arugula salad with tomatoes, capers,raisins and avocado. So fresh and pleasing. Then had one of their pizzas, sorry can't remember the name, but had mushrooms, very thin ham, and shaved cheese. So yummy. Next we shared their braised beef with fresh vegetables and mashed potatoes. The meat was so tender it fell apart. Just delicious. We ended with cannoli. They were great. The waiter was wonderful and very friendly. Just a delightful meal. If you want great food, go there. Even though it's tucked in between office buildings, the ambiance is lovely with indoor and outside seating. This is restaurant worth going to. I definitely give it 5 stars both for food and service.

I haven't been here in a very long time but I dine here during oc restaurant week. The service and food was excellent. Great value for four course pre fix meal at $40 per person. Outdoor dining and take out only.
