A great and safe location for hiking. Always of course use cation and be weary and be careful of your surroundings but for the most part this is a relatively safe area to go hiking and exploring around the trail/trails.

We usually like hiking this trail, the view is amazing, you can see 360 of the city of walnut, covina and parts of the 10 fwy east bound, 1hr 38 min later gives you a hike of 3 1/2 mile. From starting point north, of lemon, downwards Amar rd going up the trail that leaves you to the city of walnut water reservoir.

I’ve gone twice now to this hike and it is very pleasant. During this pandemic I want to try lots of hikes and this one is easy and can go here for a date or you can take your pets as well. Yes you can take your children it’s in a residential area with nice homes all around it.
