The reviews speak for themselves. I drive over an hour to come eat here and will continue to do so. The Birria is life changing and my favorite menu item. Sometimes there’s a short wait but it’s because they are popular for good reasons!!! Food always comes out hot, fresh, and in a timely fashion. The servers do an incredible job balancing multiple tables and orders. This is my favorite Mexican food restaurant of all time. Do yourself a favor and treat yo self to the food here.

Unfortunately the experience was bad. When I got the burrito that I ordered, I noticed a black spot on my tortilla. Unable to clearly see what it was, I took a photo of it and zoomed in. I noticed that it was an insect. At this point I had already eaten the majority of my food. So rather than ask for a new burrito, I asked for my meal and my family's meals to be free. After some discussion with the waitress and her claiming that the bug flew into the food and did not come from the kitchen, she only said that my meal would be free and that we would have to pay for everyone else's food. I showed her the picture of the bug and said that the bug clearly does not have wings so there is no way that it flew into my food. She agreed, but still said only my food would be free and I still had to pay for 3 other meals. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

My wife and I stopped in for an early dinner on a Sunday afternoon, after a busy day of holiday shopping. I had been craving posole for a long time, and fortunately it was available the day we visited. My bowl of posole was absolutely fabulous! Probably the best I've ever had! (Besides my moms, of course!) The balance of slight heat, hominy, and pork was spot on. My wife had a steak taco, and some chips and queso, which she also enjoyed. I will definitely return for the unforgettable posole! We finished off our meal with a Mexican fried ice cream, which was also delicious!

Best place for late night Mexican food. Great prices! Also free parking on site so you don't have to do street parking/parallel parking. We had fast service and the food was hot and tasty. Also, you can get tomales a la carte --DO IT! I'll definitely be back!
