My daughters and I tried this place for the first time yesterday while in town and WOW--just WOW! I came home and told my husband this the only place we will be eating in Manteo now. Super friendly staff, swift service, adorable inside dining room and large outdoor seating area, great location and AMAZING food. The vegetarian menu had great options which was wonderful since two of the three of us dining don't eat meat and were struggling to find an eatery in town where we could enjoy more than just a baked potato or salad (us vegetarians do tire of such things). A++. Highly recommend. Don't hesitate to dine here. We WILL be back!

The Gourmet Grilled Cheese was delicious and the staff was super friendly. Very fast service and not super busy even this close to the water.

Very good sandwiches. We got there 10 minutes before close and they were very hospitable and nice. The salads are also pretty good. It's not pricey, nor does it pretend to be an upscale restaurant. It's a sandwich shop that makes soups too but unfortunately they didn't when we went in. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a lowkey lunch place.

This family owned and run restaurant is amazing. The prices are fabulous, the kids meals come with everything they need and then some. My husband and I had 2 different sandwiches and they were fantastic! The bread was super fresh and moist and had just the right amount of meat. This place is a hidden gem! It's a must if you are in the area.
