The best burger I've ever had can be found at The Ville. It's called The Turnpike. Owner and staff are first rate. Been going to this place for years and will continue to do so. If you want to go to a REAL Bar & Grill, go to The Ville!

Nice atmosphere and good service, but open smoking is a major issue. Could use more staff on busy nights. Biggest problem is the open smoking of which I am not sure how this is allowed but it limits the clientele many do not go there because of the smoky air. We only went because of the band that was playing.Had to step outside for fresh air a few times.

I guess if you're not part of the "click" you should expect terrible service. The bartender and wait staff avoided us like the plague. After realizing you have to walk over to the bar to get drinks or food you get the same treatment there. The glares from the posse aren't exactly welcoming. Some kind of turf war lol. Don't worry we were just there for drinks food and music. Epic fail. But the band was good.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE 💕 THIS PLACE!  In the heart of Mechanicsville, this wonderful dive bar exists.  A Bar that has a tapestry of all different kinds.  A place where you feel welcome as soon as you walk thru the door.  The regulars are an amalgamation of funny, heartfelt and hard working.  The bartenders Brandon and English are AMAZiing!!! This place is truly, "All American" 🏈. In all the right ways!  I love the naked wings.  Gotta have them with the Bourbon Sauce!! Thank the Cook Mindy!  On Wednesday there is live music.  On Thursday and Friday there is Karaoke.  You have to stop by this hidden Gem.
