There was a festival going on at the time so there were a lot of people at this park on this day. Sister and I stopped to eat our sandwiches and look at the water, before heading back home. Did you know there is a population of pelicans out on the lake? Yes, there is! There are lots of spots to eat on the lake and lots of parking. The restrooms are open too, but don't know if that was because of the festival or if they're always open. The lake is huge and lots of boat launches are available for use all around

It was beautiful they had a lot of ducks it was cute to see the little family and and I loved the gazebo it was gorgeous A nice place to sit and chat with friends.

This is a nice park but needs more police presence & dogs on a leash needs to be strictly enforced. Lots of pit bills. We saw at least 4 running loose dragging their leashes or not on a leash. Pitbulls & little dogs sometime don't mix. Mu sic was pretty good. LC Diamonds. A couple Food trucks that smelled yummy. Lots of people there to listen to the music. Some of the kids there needed to be on a leash. Rude teenagers riding skateboards pulled by dogs.
