The food is pretty good, service is usually good but the Togo is a mess. I got home with a 1/4 full cup of salsa with an almost empty bag of chips with my $50 order. They got the order wrong and, not matter how hard things are, they could have at least given us a full cup of salsa with 2 dinners! The bartender was not helpful at all but she took my money and tip fast.

As a Mexican-American, I have lived here in the PV/Brookside area my whole life but never thought to try Jalapeños. Didn’t think it would be as authentic as I would like for it to be but recently took my first trip here and I was impressed. Chips and sauce are very tasty. Good customer service and pretty good decor/bar/seating areas. Old school look to it. Enchiladas were perfect. Beef tacos were very tasty. Rice had great flavor. I would maybe stay away from the pork burritos. Or maybe just the pork in general. Had a lot of thick extremely burnt pieces of pork in our burrito. Other than that we will definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

John was an amazing waiter! The food here is consistently tasty. Heavy and comforting the way you want Mexican food to be. The chips are perfect and salsa has a bite without being too spicy. Generous portions and fast service. It’s no wonder Jalapenos is so busy!

It had way too much cheese. That made it hard to eat. I couldn't taste anything because of how much there was. I didn't finish. The shrimp taco was okay. The staff were nice and attentive.
