Seems safe inside. There seems to be some construction going on. I was here in April some construction, Now here on June bathroom closed under construction. I asked and there is a trailer bathroom outside station, doesnt seem that safe to go out at night. Too many homeless activity outside. Other than that station is nice. Staff are helpful.

Nice little train station is nestled among hills and greenery. Very clean. There's tickets agents, snack machines and restrooms. There's homeless out on the backside but its a safe station, they don't bother you. Connecting buses arrive here. There's tons of roses and 9/11 display outside. Careful with train tracks!

Yes, but you'll need to go into the station to get a free parking pass, just show them your ticket.

It's probably safer if you travel during the day.
I think you can, but i would suggest calling or visiting www.amtrak.com to verify cause i have never had the need. But i think so within certain size parameters and the cost of a second seat at full price.....
What are you talking about? You know how creepy that sounds?
Parking is free if you have a valid Amtrak ticket, you must get a paper permit from inside the station.
I don't have an answer - I have the same question!
Martinez station is an actual train and bus for depart/arrive. You can purchase your tickets there. It would be a bus journy only from this station to Petaluma. Cost about $20.00 gor round trip. Its about 100 miles...
