Yes.. if you are talking about the one for hiking if you're talking about the fire trail gate for the fire trucks no those are never unlocked for the general public

Is there a curfew to get in?

The park curfew is from 10PM-5AM. Some of the parking for particular trail heads is gated and generally are locked at 7PM, but the park itself is still open
