Lots of homeless people around and for some reason, lots of bees (not that both are necessarily bad but the bees did annoy me). No benches or shelters, just a platform. Trains are usually on time, so the station serves its purpose!

Zero stars is more accurate! Im not really bothered by the homeless crowd gathered to keep out of the rain, but the fact that the bathrooms seem to have been locked for long enough that spider webs cover both doors. There is ab insane amount of graffiti and trash everywhere. The light up board and speakers to announce arrival times are nearly non nonfunctional. What a total dump! I cannot imagine Amtrak is okay with this. I get they dont have a station agent, but open restrooms- even if they are used by homeless who cares?! And clean it up. Looks bad for Antioch and Amtrak!

Homeless hangout disguising. As a train station; Dirty, unsafe, no bathrooms. Homeless begging and sleeping everywhere. Beware. The buses come thru regularly.

The amtrack itself is a sold 4 stars but the environment is not safe at all!!! If it isnt homeless people harrassing for money its a coke head trying to get his fix in the corner. I have almost been robbed twice and i use it as my main form of transportation to fresno....either the antioch police need to crack down on the area or they need to have security because i never feel safe waiting for the train

It's better to pay on the application or the web, they will charge you additional fee for cash payments on board
On the train or online.. There is no other place where you can by them
I don't know. Just so you know; YOU'RE ASKING PUBLICLY, call Amtrak. This is an overview, not Amtrak customer support.
why ask questions if you do not answer them???
The "station" is just a sidewalk, at the very end of I St just before it crosses the tracks. You can recognize it from the usual bumpy yellow rubber strip running along the edge by the tracks. They have a bench or two in the trees. Make sure to be ready when it pulls up, and watch for where the door is opening, they only stop at this station for a few seconds and only open one or two doors usually one car in from either end of the train. eTickets are the usual thing, just have it ready to scan from a bright phone screen.
There is limited parking next to the station but the area is extremely sketchy and I would not recommend that you ever leave your vehicle there and unattended!
Not really sure but I think the last Amtrak goes threw between 8 and 9
You can go to BART.gov the site has a trip planner you can enter what time you need to be at your destination, and it will advise you what train take. I would also plan on time to park, parking is limited at Antioch BART
3:49 am next one @ 4:00 am
