I have given this place 2 chances and both times were horrible. The owner along with every worker in the customer service area is very rude and lacks customer service skills. Each person their tells their own story as to why they can not help in anyway at the customer service counter. I have worked in customer service for 20 years and have never seen anything like the amount of disrespect this macalusos has for their customers. This place isn't like how they used to be years ago. The owner here has no empathy or manners for anyone who enters the store. Be aware that you will be treated kind one day and treated horrible the next by the same person! Every employee here seems to be miserable and hate their jobs! Please go down the street to sunfresh if you do not want to have a horrible experience here.

Great place to get your meats and overall shop I don't like to buy they fresh fruit they always look spoiled but sometimes it's ok kinda a hit or miss.. but if u need something they definitely will have it in and out better than Walmart no really long lines

I stopped in once to pick up juice for my daughter. First thing that stood out to me was the horrible smell in the store. I was wearing a mask and the smell was still overwhelming. This store also takes advantage of the people in the neighborhood. This grocery store is charging convenience store prices on all of their products. I know everyone has a choice where to shop, but some of the people don’t have cars and this is their only option. I feel sorry for the people across the street in the retirement home that may be on a fixed income and they have no choice but to pay those prices. I’ll drive a few miles and go to Walmart Neighborhood Market.

My original post I gave Macaluso's a 3 star rating. I am so sorry about that! It should be a 5. I tell everyone to go there for the meat deals. We always stock up. I stop by this store at least 2 or 3 times a month (and it's not right down the street)
