This is the best experience I've had with car rental in all the years I've been coming to California. I had already booked and arranged insurance. I arrived late evening and it was a very short walk across to the Hertz office. This was the second time this trip for picking up a car at this location. Margarita served me both times. She was friendly, so helpful and got me a lovely car both times. There was no pushy insurance selling that I have had trouble with previously at LAX car rental companies. There were only 2 people in front of me both times so no long wait either. Very easy to pick up the car and leave. Returning the car was also very simple. Just drop in the return line and walk across to the terminal. I will definitely be using this location next year.

This place SUCKS! First off they made me separate from my 12 year old daughter to even rent a car. She had to stay outside ALONE for 50 minutes while I rented the car. Once we left we didn’t even make off the airport grounds and the car broke down. Because of how much this location SUCKS they don’t answer the phone. I called 15 times back to back. Even waited 5 minutes and called a few more times. Super infuriating to have to contact Hertz roadside assistance when your 1.1 miles away from where you picked up the car. Especially when roadside doesn’t understand why I won’t deal with the location directly since we are so close!

Had a very bad experience. They gave a car that had ants crawling inside, lots of them. Realized only after coming out of the covered lot and when had gotten on to the freeway. They were in the center console. Obviously the car had not been cleaned after the previous return. Did not use the bug spray as that would not have been a good idea to have the chemical inside closed car when driving. Called Hertz phone number to register complaint, had to leave a message, but no one called back. Definitely a bad experience.

Waited in a line in a parking garage for an hour. Get to the desk and the guy behind the counter speaks rapid-fire with a super heavy accent. i had to have repeat almost everything. I don’t use a major credit card, so I had to upgrade to a more expensive, full size car, put down a $500 deposit, AND they ran my credit, so that I can wait ANOTHER 45 minutes for my upgraded car that will use more gas. So glad to be on vacation! Very relaxing…

Yes, you can always extend the rental online or by calling the customer line. Price may vary and change upon when u want to return the vehicle or how you book your reservation. Just let them know you would like to keep the same vehicle if you are booking the same car class. Only if the car need service they can't re-rent the vehicle.
I'm assuming you paid extra for the full coverage, meaning you paid to just walk away if there is any damage, right? That's why. Doesn't explain being rude though. Not good

that is a very broad question that all depends on the vehicle you rent any discounts that you might be entitled to whether it be AAA or your corporate or senior or military. BUT Becausee you are dropping in a different location then yes you will very likely almost certainly be charged an extra fee the only way to really find out it is to call and ask my experience it's better to call than to try and book online agent will be aware of any promotions or special circumstances that you may not be aware of just make sure you ask there are way too many variables answer your question specifically.it even , depends on what day of the week you rent of course if you start on a Friday and end on a Friday you better off sometimes it's cheaper to buy a week then just five days

You must of got an e- receipt. Your deposit depends on your credit card. Usually 24-48 hrs. Since ita the holiday weekend it might take longer.
I always call and ask for the managers special and use my Hertz gold membership for the best rates but they vary.
They will take the toll fees from your credit card they have on file when you rented.

We rented at John Wayne and returned to LAX.
Rental offoce is too far from main access point, you have to walk quite a distance. The attendent was rude and impolite, I even have to wait for a reserved car. Don't rent from Hertz, not worth it.
