This Flea Market was 100x better back in the 1980's. I remember when both parking lots was the Flea Market. Depot Road was Flea Market and the Flea Market was also across from Jack in the box. It only cost $7.00 to sell here. This was the good old days when there was "No Vendors" This was when people brought all the stuff from home they didn't want. Picture it like a every house in a track of homes was having a yard sale. That's how it looked Now it's like going inside Southland Mall. I can't believe how many Vendors there are and price to sell here is ridiculously high. Its like $40.00 and it's a really small Flea Market.

To many vendors not enough people selling stuff they don't want anymore. We like going fleamarkets where people clean out their houses, closets, garages, storage units etc You can find collectibles antiques etc. Why are there so many vendors? If we want to buy new stuff, we know where the store is. This fleamarket is "WAY OVER PRICED" to sell here. I noticed by just watching, there is more lookers than buyers. This fleamarket was 100x better back in the 80s because it only cost $7.00 to sell here and it was both parking lots. Hesperian Jack in the box side and also the parking lot near Depot Road. The customers coming to the flea market was complaining so much about no parking and they had to walk so they eliminated the fleamarket on the depo side making it into parking. So you have one side parking and one side flea market. Customers were still not satisfied because they had to walk back and forth carrying their stuff so Chabot cut the fleamarket in half again making the flemarket half sellers half parking. The time use to be 8 - 4 now it's until 3 pm. $35 to $45 for 2 parking places? Expensive and not worth it. $10 should be the price for non vendors and vendors should be little more since they have a business. I recommend Laney Flemarkey in Oakland off 5th avenue. Yeah they have vendors, they all do, so you cant escape it but I noticed there is lots of old stuff there. Parking is bad I recommend parking at Bart and walk. Dont know how much it is to sell her but i am thinking it's much cheaper than Chabot and you can see it from the 880 freeway. They have it every Sunday unless the carnival is there.

Nice fair price for buying clothes or house items
I think so. http://www.chabotcollege.edu/student-services/student-life/flea-market.php It says the market will open on Oct 17
There is no set date yet, but talks of January.
Sooner the better. The sooner you start, you have a better chance to get the spot you want. Some sellers have made claim to a certain spot, so those are rarely ever available unless they didn't want their spot for the month.
I think you need a permit to sell or give away food at the flea market.
55 dollars
The flea market is only once a month, the 3rd Saturday of each month.
