Beautiful. It's a wonderful place to walk through the past in the present

Lots of local history and despite what someone wrote there is definitely Civil War memorial/people. Joel Mansfield and family are buried there - he had a huge influence on Redwood City and it's history as their first recorder. He then became a beloved Sheriff of the city. He was also once owner of the historical Lathrop House in Redwood City where he passed away and his memorial service was held before the march to bury him in Union Cemetery. His devoted wife and other family members are buried there as well .

I have learned a lot of what has made our home much of what it is via our living history that is ever changing by way of our own sharing of new discoveries of our ancestors. What a great source of what why and how things have arrived to the present day. Thank you all who participated in keeping this information as up to date as you do!

check out www.historicunioncemetery.com to find out lots of information
There is no seating area. Im not sure why youd want to have a bday party at a cemetery
