My husband and I made our home here at Havencroft when we got married 3 years ago. Management is fantastic, maintenance is quick to respond and friendly, our neighbors are friendly and bonus: the buildings are built with great thick walls and floors. We hardly hear our neighbors. We also love how close it is to I35 without freeway noise. I live to walk and can access trails and Frisco Lake nearby.

I lived at Havencroft in a 1-bedroom unit on the second floor from 3/2003 to 6/2004 and my experience could not have been better! My building was slightly different in that the balcony was covered by a roof and recessed into the building, unlike the other buildings. I had some friends that rented a 2-bedroom unit. Both floor plans were very spacious for apartments and especially for the price at that time. I viewed several other apartment complexes before renting at Havencroft and you would be hard-pressed to find another 1-bedroom apartment WITH a patio or balcony and large sliding glass door in that price range. At the time I lived there, the appliances were a bit dated, but perfectly functional. I especially enjoyed all the windows and natural light. The management was friendly and so were the neighbors. I was a college student at the time, but very quiet unlike typical college students, so they took a chance in renting to me. The apartments were marketed as primarily a senior 55+ community, but I got along well with all my neighbors. It's hard to rent a 2-story walk-up to an age group that frequently has trouble with stairs. Lol. I'm glad I found Havencroft. If you find it suits your needs, I'm sure you won't be disappointed!
