Where to begin. Let's start with the racist security and go from there. Every. Single. Night. I've been stopped by security. After work, dark out, other people strolling along but it's always me they stop. There was even a night when they felt it necessary to dispatch TWO ADULT MEN for me...I'm 5'5, 120lbs - _- Not only is it obviously fueld by prejudice, they seem to be oblivious to the fact that as full grown men, approaching single women and interrogating them, hindering them from leaving, is harassment and terrifying to say the least. They've harassed me to the point that I felt a need to post about it. I am the only(read: ONLY) Black person in this community and between the harassment by security and the distrustful, downright offensive behavior of the residents, it's obvious Black bodies aren't welcome here. I walk my dog every single day and yet security still gets dispatched to me as if I'm some masked burglar. Without fail. It's frustrating, embarrassing, hurtful, and disgusting. I'll be leaving soon and taking every opportunity I can to spread the word about this place.
