I had a Troybuilt mower that these guys worked on for me in the past. They seemed nice enough, they worked it over, and it got me through the next couple of years. Here it is 2022, and the mower was chugging through some wet grass. I had the mower on the highest setting, and was going slowly. The long and short of it is the motor blew up. A new motor is almost the price of a new mower, so I found a good used mower. Now I know it was an unusual make, and an older mower, but they flat out refused to work on it. Something I am finding out with this mower. The guy was willing to sell me a new $3500.00 mower, just a little too rich for my blood. Maybe ok for those rich Johnson Countyians, just not something I can afford. 05/23/22, response: I get that you don’t set the prices on mowers, part of my problem is that my new mower is an unusual mower a Marty J. Even though it is an older model, it is worth it to keep it running. I did find a factory authorized service center. The only problem Is it is about an hour away. So it looks like I will be taking a trip. You would have thought that there would be a dealer somewhere in KC, but no.

I took my lawn mower to Outdoor Equipment Solutions in Merriam for repair. Everyone there was very friendly and they got the job done quickly and at a reasonable price. Recommended.

Excellent service, don't try to fix anything that's not broken. They serviced my push mower in about a day. Went to pick it up and it was leaking fuel. They wouldn't let it leave like that and fixed it, for no additional charge, in about 30 min. If you have any small engine repair needed this is the place to go! Can't say enough about the staff, 5 star the whole time.
