Great community kept area. Trails, kayak launch, butterfly gardens and more. We gathered.knowledge, enjoyed nature and the pups as well.

Great little park tucked right into the city. Has lovely crushed gravel trails and plenty of options for a family to enjoy an afternoon. A small playground for the little kids. Plenty of places to walk around and hike. Some beauty around the small pond. Everything in nice condition.

Very nice woth clearly marked trails. Kayak launch easily found. No fishing allowed. Nice education center (closed) and kids playground. Awesome sculptures located around the park. Pet friendly.

A really nice walking trail for beginners and elderly people many areas resting and sitting benches and the whole walk is less than an hour.

Why are they active fire ant mounds on the walking trails that school children use

Rick Savage | Jul 24, 2019

Its just a wild guess. But, being that it is a nature park. I don't think they would be poisoning the ants to move them from the path. That is their habitat. Its good that the children learn about everything in nature, what's good and what could be harmful.
