Was told not to buy a roof rack online. Was told it's best to go into the store and talk it out because there are extra parts you inevitably need per your vehicle. Came in and spoke with Alicia. Was so glad I did. She answered all my questions (I had a ton) and gave me great recommendations. Really happy with my stop in to her store today. Bought a bunch of stuff and now I'm a member :)

The folks in the hiking footwear section were extremely patient, informative, and kind (even on a busy Saturday) when I spent a long time trying to find the right hiking shoes or sandals. It was incredibly valuable to have knowledgeable people to consult on a decision that has impact on my well-being during long hikes! Really appreciate it and recommend going here.

I've always had great service at RRI. Not only are their employees nice people, they walk the walk and know the activities that they're selling equipment for so can give you great information. Other sports stores won't have that for you. They also have free classes you can take to learn many outdoor skills. I went to a Mt Whitney class and it gave me excellent info to prepare me for the hike. I appreciate that they aren't just out to make money but try to be a cornerstone for the local community. Much beloved.

This guy here his name is David he was extremely rude and disrespectful I bought a pant one week ago and I used a gift card With the original purchase I came today January 12, 2022 to exchange the size he told me if you don’t have the original receipt which is I don’t have it we cannot do an exchange or a refund I told him well I bought it with my gift card I can give you the gift card number and you can look it up or check serial number for the item to match it with a tag and he said he cannot do that in his system after all I called customer service and I told them about what happened and the lady told me over the phone if you have a valid ID you can do an exchange so I went back to him and I explained to him he accepted it after he give me a hard time. It was unnecessary argument I am never coming back here again horrible customer service at this location.

REI has a wonderful return policy. They will absolutely take the shoes back and offer excellent customer service the entire time. Love the culture at this place. Good luck!
They are now. We just got boots for my wife.
Closed. They make a big deal about wanting their employees and co-op members going and doing something outside and/or spending time with friends and family instead of going shopping.
Their warranty is horrible now. One year on everything including rei brand. If it's another brand the manufacture will most likely warranty the item. REI items are only one year. I don't shop there anymore. Every thing can be found online cheaper with a better warranty.
