I was at ARCO today , i went inside to pay for gas . I gave the clerk 2 $20bills and asked 40 on 3 please . He said okay . When i got to the pump it only gave me 20 dollars , when i went inside to tell the clerk i was missing 20 dollars he argued i had only gave him 1 $20 bill .. I had to end up paying $60 for only $40 dollars worth of gas. I left my information and asked the clerk to have his manager watch the camera video to be able to see i gave him $40 in stead of $20 the first time . This insident happened 5/29/22 at 11:25 a.m. and i hope to hear from the manager soon as the gas prices and this mistake dont help at all . I want to get my $20 dollars the clerck "misplaced" back

I am not one to get offended easily as I deal with customers daily, and try to understand that employees have "bad days". However, I have never treated anyone or seen anyone treated at the level of respect I was given. I attempted to purchase gas with a gift card, after realizing a mistake on my part I kinda asked the cashier if i could cancel the transaction. Mind you, the transaction had not processed. The cashier was completely rude, telling me that I could no longer complete the transaction on that the card because i had changed my mind. It was not the reason that I could not use that card to complete the purchase, but the way that he spoke to me that really frustrated me. Without wanting to create a scene, I just left feeling embarrassed by how he had spoke to me, as if he was entitled to belittle customers. If he would just have explained to me clearly and kindly, I would have been perfectly fine with that. Truthfully, I have never felt the necessity to write a bad review for any place or felt the need to do so, especially for a gas station. Worst Gas Station I have ever visited.
