Beautiful, drivable, hike-able, and full of history from the Civil War. Highly recommend this lovely park to get out and enjoy nature and our nations history. I included some photos from the day we spent out at the park; I should also add it’s a perfect place to enjoy a picnic in fair weather. Cheers !

it's a great place for hiking and learning about history. not wheelchair recommend, most places and sites are through gravel traits.

No. It's all open down there. Usually there's not a lot of people during the week. And if you're dog's not on voice command it would be a good idea to keep it leashed. Dogs can get lost easy over there.
There are no buildings. I did not notice any signs about animal restrictions.
