I've lived in VA for a long time, and this is one of my absolute favorite wineries of all. The wine is among the best in all of VA; the staff are knowledgeable, welcoming, and open their facility like it's their own home to everyone; the entire team is passionate about making and sharing great wine, and enjoying it in a gorgeous setting. The staff is gracious, generous, and open hearted, and they make you feel as though you are part of their family - not something I say lightly. Regarding the wine - the list of awards is simply beyond belief, but also not surprising. The Pearmund team is extremely good at what they do, and I love sharing what they have created with my own friends and family. I think if you need a rest from pandemics, politics, the over loss of common sense - and need to experience some of the good in the world, then you need to go Pearmund Cellars.

From the friendly welcome to the excellent wines this is a great local winery for any occasion. They offer a variety of wines ranging from award winning Charger nay to great varietals like their Petit Verdot. They also offer a variety of seating both indoors and out and space for private parties. Check out their website for tastings, classes and other events. A little off the beaten path with limited parking. Well behaved dogs are welcome also.

I absolutely adore this winery. Small and family-owned which makes it very friendly and wonderfully cozy, but with absolutely phenomenal wine easily comparable to, in fact even better than, other larger vineyards I've been to. Great selection and every one is delicious. I'm a wine club member and even though I live an hour away, I always look forward to going out there for the wine, the beauty of the property, and the family feel of the staff. I went to a reserve wine tasting special event this weekend and it was so well put together and truly truly enjoyable. Pearmund is A+ for sure.

My fiancé proposed to me a week ago at Pearmund Cellars. It was such a pretty day and the staff made sure we had a private table hidden in the vines. I could not think of a better, more magical place to say 'Yes'! We enjoyed some great wine and walked around the beautiful grounds together. I definitely recommend this place for any romantic celebration (proposal, anniversary, wedding). The staff was incredibly attentive and even gave us a bottle of bubbly to celebrate with our families! Thank you to the team for making this day even more special! We will definitely be coming back.
