I wanted to give this place a higher rating, but just could not really try the wines. Also not sure the reason, but they don't do tastings just flights of 3 wines. They did have a total of 13 wines to choose from and evenly split between white/red. They also had one rose and one port. Most of their offerings were blends so difficulty to choose wines for my flight as I had no idea on the grapes or what was in the blend. I did pick 3 reds at random, which were blends, pretty dry, and all good from my point of view. They do have a nice outdoor seating area, but can't comment on the inside as it was closed due to an event. The place looked really interesting, but just couldn't really see anything in detail. I will say the people working there were very friendly.

Love this place. Many come for the history and World War 2 connection but the wines are as good as anywhere in Virginia. They get alot of their fruit from their partner wineries-Pearmund and Effingham. Need to check them out also.

We signed up for the Adopt a Barrel Program and made a barrel of wine with our friends. The staff was super friendly and Mark the winemaker was great! It truly was a hands-on winemaking experience and when it was done we got 24 cases of GREAT wine! We are already thinking about our next barrel. Thank you Vint Hill Craft Winery!!

Found this place because we were trying to go to Mad Magic Kombucha and they were closed. Staff is super friendly and the wine is delicious. Absolutely love labels on the wine bottles, ties so well with the Cold War Museum which is also a must while visiting Vint Hill Craft Winery. We had the Bombshell and Vivían :) It’s a Family Friendly Winery! Outdoor food welcome we actually got sandwiches from Covert Cafe which is in front of the winery also a MUST.

Children are not allowed on the winery production floor, not sure about the tasting room upstairs. But there is a large picnic area with tables and area for kids to enjoy. You can bring your own food and they have a tasting room set up where you can buy a bottle to go with your picnic.
