Incredibly friendly, wholesale prices, not a place to skip if you're having a big fish dinner be it cooked or sushi. A lot of people forget not to wear sandals and they strictly do not let them in, but they are still incredibly accommodating to those customers by bringing the fish to them to view and make decisions. Better to just wear regular shoes though.

Excellent quality of seafood. Japanese market. Very friendly staff. Oysters are so fresh 1.40 each, so worth it! Very clean and sanitized. They give you gloves and a cap to wear, they also take your temperature. Very safe to shop. Love this place. I come from West Covina.

I love this place! Great seafood at excellent prices. Is not your traditional market counter where everything is behind it glass. You can touch the fish (with gloves that they will provide you) and you have to wear a hair net. Just be ready to take a lot of fish home, they sell large portions. I wanted octopus so I had to take home 1/2 Octopus (2.5 lb). A great experience!

Arrived 25 minutes after open.. not much to buy. Price is more than whole sale. Sells farm raised salmon from Canada and frozen farm raised salmon from Norway. Frozen farm raised yellowtail from Japan.

Yes they do.
Yes they do
They do have crab and crab legs, but I'm not sure they are colossal, or the price per pound. Sorry! We usually buy salmon.
I have not seen in the year plus buying from LA Fish. Indeed best to call and confirm. Post an update...
Never seen eeee eel there
Really dont know
Yes
It is open to the public. Hours change so give them a call before you go.
Yes you can get fresh oysters what region of washes are you looking for?
I'm not an employee I'm a customer you'll have to contact them yourself directly they will give you the answer between the two prices Fridays a good day and month is a good.but they will also cut it up or layed or however you want it's best to buy a whole fish if you want them to say the carcass for you they will.
Not sure, but its definitely worth the visit! They have quality sea food!
You should
I'm not sure you going to have to call them and ask
I dont think they have any smoked fish, but I tried shopping there 4th of July week and I was turned away because they don't sell to the public.
I have not seen any Blood Clams the few times that I have gone, but I only go on Saturday mornings. I hear during the week you can find a better selection.
Yes swordfish is extra tho. ............NEEEEEEXT
I think so
They have varieties but can't say precisely
You sould go to Korean Market.
I don't think so. I didn't see many of lobsters and crabs. Try some market in Korea town. It'll be lot cheaper.
They usually do. Call them to verify before making the trip.
Who has best lobster in la? We’re can I buy best lobster dinner la?
Mmmmmmm, that I don't know. You should call them and ask them, they are very helpful.
I dunno, they have 2 stores one in DTLA the other in Santa Monica I suggest you give them a call.
Crawfish ? I never seen any live. Not lobsters if so let me know
Not sure, give them a call at their downtown LA or Santa Monica store
Their selection varies. I suggest you give them a call to see what they have available.
Yes
Yes
I don't know bout that, ask the staffs at that place
Yes, upon request. They can cut it in any way you ask for them to do so.
Sometimes.
I've seen shark steak before but it was a while back.
It depends on the season. I just bought a 23lb Scottish farm raised salmon for $154 at $7 a pound. If you only want half the fish, it's like $12/lb. They filleted it for me and I kept the head and bones for stock. Just make sure you have a food saver handy because it's alot of fish. It's better than Costco's farm raised fish because you will know exactly were out came from. Also the frozen ones they have is sushi grade due to it having to be frozen to kill all the parasites that salmon has. Never eat fresh salmon as sushi, you will get sick. It must be frozen for 15 hours then defrosted then sliced.
