I loved this little sandwich spot! Two of my friends had recommended this place to me. I tried The Coach and it was delicious, highly recommend. I loved the pimento cheese and tiger sauce on it. The mint lemonade was good but I couldn't really taste the mint. The potato salad was amazing! Our server Sarah was very friendly with good vibes. I will definitely be back to try some of their other sandwiches.

Great little sandwich joint. My daughter and I felt like a sandwich, so we did a Google search and Garrett's popped up, so we thought we'd give a try. So 1st, it's little, a couple of about 5 two tops, 2 four and then a little counter area. Looks like it's been here forever and part of the historical buildings of Richmond. Our waiter was pretty on the spot, even though he was serving everyone, but the counter. I got the MLT and my daughter got the BLT. She asked for no mayo, but it came with, our waiter was pretty quick to fix it though. My daughter loved the her BLT. My MLT was ok. Either the meatloaf wasn't very flavorful or the condiments just hide the taste. It wasn't bad, just bland, blah. Now the homemade pickles were kicking! The sandwichs were pretty large. We also got a slice of funetti cake and mixed berry pie. Again my daughter loved the cake and saw another person shoveling in down, so sure it was good. The pie was pretty tasty as well, it might even been better warm and a dollop of whipped cream on top. Overall was a good experience. They had a huge selection, so I'm sure I could find something I'd like a little better. I'd definitely go back.

A fun, tiny little place! Like 18 seats kind of tiny (a few more when seating at the counter is open. Which it isn't at the moment.) Sandwiches and salad are the specialty. Both ours were excellent. They also offer a limited, but tasty range of cake and/or pie options. Fun place for a quick lunch. Just be aware that you may have to wait during busy hours.

I can’t get enough of this place since I moved into town! It was slim pickings where I came from for a good sandwich - and this place is the best spot to fill my cravings! The Cali Club is my favorite, and they do a great job with that classic. They have an awesome assortment of pies and cakes too! Very limited seating, but they do to-go orders as well. It’s a hidden gem in this neighborhood!

How late is your kitchen open?

Kitchen/Cafe sometimes closes early without announcing in advance, which is frustrating. You need to call ahead to make sure they are still open, particularly early in the week, and especially on Mondays. Called around 4pm this afternoon (Mon.) and they said they were closing early at 8:30pm; called to place order at 7:50pm and they said they'd already closed.
