Someone told me once that if McMaster-Carr didn't carrying something you didn't need it. That was meant as a joke but it is pretty close to the truth. We use them for much of our "odds and ends" purchasing. They basically have no minimum order quantities, during business hours you can normally will call an order within an hour if you are close to one of their warehouses. One of the best run companies I know of.

After much web searching I found McMaster-Carr and all the awesome products they carry. I had been searching for a specific size laminate workbench top and they listed exactly what I needed. I contacted them via the chat button on their web site and received an almost immediate reply from Melanie who was very helpful. I then made a call to their Santa Fe Springs CA facility and spoke to Sara (spelling?) who was extremely pleasant and helpful as well. She confirmed the item I wanted was in stock and I could pick it up. When I arrived I was amazed at the size of the facility and was very pleased at the obvious steps being taken to protect everyone with regards to Covid. By the time I made my way to the will-call door I was directed to, my item was already waiting for me on a forklift. The packaging was excellent and the item was in flawless condition. It was loaded into my truck by a nice guy (sorry, no name) who wished me a good day. I was very impressed with the company, the staff, and my purchase. I will definitely be giving them additional business and highly recommending them. Thank you.

McMaster Carr is my go to place for ordering what I need for work. They sell almost everything that exists. Their website is amazing, and you can very easily search for what you need and narrow down the results of the search to find what you need quickly. Speaking of quickly... If I place an order in the early morning, I'll receive it that afternoon. If I place it in the afternoon, I'll receive it by 9-10am the next day. The guys they use for delivery are on time almost every single time. They're a little more expensive than other places on some things, but the best place to find whatever you might need.

Extremely poor shipping. Though my order was received quickly and correct in regards to what I actually ordered, my product (plastic screen mesh) was ruined due to horrible packaging. Rather than simply rolling up my 2 orders of mesh and putting them in a cardboard shipping tube, they folded half the order and creased it, and rolled the other half and folded it in half making all of it unusable for my application. They placed the entire order in a very large and unnecessary box and fill the remaining space with 24 feet of bubble packing material. Ruined my product and wasted materials and postage. They also do not tell you shipping costs until they charge your card then ship in this unacceptable manner.
