Website said it's open, it's Not! It's closed for Father day. You need to up dated your we sight when you are going to be closed Gas in cheap. Took my husband for Father's day to shop. We arrived @12:40 waited in parking lot. Sign said it opened at 1:00 so we waited. You Need To Make A Bigger Sign! There's a lot of people here waiting like us! Lot other people waited to,then we seen your little sign! A lot of other people mad and leaving.

We spent over $200 so definitely lots of nice merchandise - very reasonable prices. The staff was awful! Lots of giggling gossiping teenage girls that were not helpful at all. A kind older lady offered some assistance in someone else’s “hall” and then asked the girl who was in charge of the “hall” we were in to help us out. Upstairs the girls were very pleasant though! Overall the shopping was wonderful but the environment not so much!

I’ve shopped at Sikes and Kohn’s since I was in elementary school in the 80s. It was the highlight of starting a new school year. Mom would drive us an hour to pick out name brand shoes and really great “hip” jeans (they didn’t have the cute boutique clothes back then). The staff was never overwhelmingly nice but certainly not rude. I moved way for many years and when I moved back, I couldn’t wait to go shop there once again. I’ve shopped there several times since moving back to AL…and WOW, just WOW! The staff is tremendously terrible. It’s statistically fascinating that ALL of the employees could be a combination of both rude and indifferent at the same time. I would be embarrassed to own a business that allowed customers to be treated with such disdain. I hope that the owners and management see this post for what I intend it to be, and make the changes needed. I want to have that same excited feeling to go to Sikes and Kohn again. And, one day, to share that same feeling with my daughter.

Be sure you have all your merchandise when you leave the store! My friend bought over $300 worth of items recently when we shopped there and discovered when we got home that half of it was not in the bags. When she contacted the store regarding her missing items, she was spoken to like she was some sort of con artist. Apparently, they don’t subscribe to the policy that the customer is always right.
