Beautiful hike in late May. Some uphill “stair climbing”. Took us much longer than other reviews suggest it will take, with a 6 year-old in tow. This should be a statement of encouragement for anyone wanting to hike with a young family. I wish I had timed our way up, but it took us 45 minutes to walk back down. (Obviously, it took longer to get up.) Beautiful fall. There is not a place to swim- don’t bother with a swimsuit.

Beautiful little falls accessible by a fairly short hike. Search google maps for “Keel Mountain Preserve” for navigation to the trailhead parking lot.

This was a fun hike. The parking lot doesn’t have a sign on the road so it’s easy to miss. I think it took us around 25-30 minutes to get to the falls. A few times we did get off trail and had to pull up AllTrails to get back on the path. If you don’t have the app, download it before you go on this hike. Multiple spots the trail seems to disappear. This waterfall is really tall and the way it looks with the hole there is awesome. We walked down to the base of the falls which it can be slick so be careful. It was a cool experience. You can also see it from the top where there is a slight ledge to walk on. Be careful though. There is nothing to catch you if you slip and fall. Really nice on a weekday. We only passed one person and that was on our way back to the trailhead and they had just started the hike.

Totally worth the hike up. This trail was fairly easy with just two areas that had a more intermediate level incline. DOG FRIENDLY! We had a blast on this hike and would recommend this trail to anyone. Pack a lunch and relax at the waterfall for a truly tranquil experience.
