This place was amazing. Took my wife and 3yr. All of us loved it. Staff was great. Friendly and knowledgeable! Nice three quarter of a mile hiking trail behind the building. Trout fishing stream that beautiful. Overall great experience.

This place was truly amazing. I expected to see the fish raceways but I DID NOT expect the immersive experience they've put together...and NO CHARGE for admission?! (However, I highly suggest donating to their cause! It's definitely worth it and you get to see and do so much while you're there.) Living aquatic specimen, educational exhibits, "living bee tree", animatronics and a friendly, caring set of volunteers who go above the expected to make a memorable visit. The resident skunk (yes, skunk), "Ranger" was a site to see. The volunteers gave him an extra snack so we could get a close-up view of his face. I'll definitely go back just to witness the annual "fishing derby" they host for children. Make time to visit this place. Give yourself 30-60 minutes to tour the facility and a few extra minutes to walk through the raceways to feed the fish. Masks are required, regardless of vaccination status and they offer them at the front desk if you don't have one (or if you break yours as soon as you go in like I did). Plenty of parking (including handicap) and outdoor garden areas for strolling. Located next to Wolf Creek Dam, photo opportunities are aplenty.

Our second time visiting. Went on a Saturday around 10am. Took our 4&5 year old. They thoroughly enjoyed it. Lots of buttons and lights. Interactive education! Can't beat that. Fed the fish and that was also a HUGE hit for the littles. Will visit again and again!

We visited again but it had been a few years. The magic of seeing the facilities crew taking trout from egg sack to stocking size never ceases to amaze. The visitor's center was clean and still well maintained and appointed. Just another great addition and stop on our trip.
