Beyond the extra mile kind of place! The experience for our family purchasing a new SUV where we could all fit was completely amazing. Jose Sermonia went above and beyond. We told him what we wanted and how we would like the process to be and boom! He made it happen quickly and very professionally. We are so pleased and great full. It was a very smooth process where nothing felt forced or pressured like some other dealerships. It literally was what we wanted and how we wanted and Jose made it happen! We love our new SUV. Thank you.

With the interesting car market in the 2022 timeline, Serramonte Subaru is pretty reasonable. Looked up online to check their inventory, they have huge selection. Reached out to them and got a super quick response from Steven and was able to connect and agree on a price quick and reasonable - or I should say, in a crazy market like this it is pretty good. The whole process is seamless and easy, and got what I just wanted. No hard sale, Steven know his stuff, flexible, friendly and very fun to work with!! I got a good deal on my trade in as well. The financial part is also quick and easy. Adrian helped me with all the paper work. Adrian is also friendly, nice, and very efficient. I got in and out quicker than I expected. If I ever need to buy another Subaru again I would always go back Serramonte Subaru; it is indeed a pretty experience, and I would recommend Steven and Adrian with no hesitation.

The service department is professional and appears very thorough. I brought my car in to check for uneven tire wear. They explained that a tire rotation is due and that they would check for anything out of the ordinary. They would also provide a multipoint inspection (6000 mile service, as it was due. Oil and filter change was also due at 6,000 miles, but I had already had that done elsewhere). Total would be 39.95 which is a fair price. I was told that it would take about 2 1/2 hours as they were busy on the weekend (Sat.). I would return to pick up later. I received a call back 4 1/2 hours later letting me know my car was ready for pickup. It was given a complementary wash which is a nice extra, but when I was about to get into the driver's seat, I saw that my leather seat cover (which was painstakingly installed) was dislodged! The seat cover was pulled out on the sides as though someone carelessly slid into the seat, pulling the cover off. It was not put back in place nor was I alerted. Other than that annoyance, the service itself was fine. 4 stars for service, one less star for my seat cover.

Very poor customer service experience with this Subaru dealership. We ordered floor mats to be delivered to the dealership, which were supposed to be delivered in 10-14 days. After four weeks, we emailed the dealership to ask about the mats, and only then received an email saying they had been delivered. We then come to the dealership on a Saturday, arriving around 5pm to install the mats. We are directed to the Parts department, which is not staffed. We wait there for 10 minutes only to have another employee say that the Parts department staff is only in the dealership until 5PM on Saturdays. These hours were not shared with us in our email correspondence with the dealership, so we mistakenly thought the dealership hours were the same as the Parts department. The employee told us we would need to come back on Monday during the right hours, which we did. Upon arrival, the Parts department staff gave us our floor mats, but then told us that install the floor mats (including one on the back of the backseat, which requires proper installation) was not their job. We drove 30 min to Daly City from SF twice only to pick up the floor mats we ordered without installation. I have ordered this part before at other dealerships, and it was always installed by the dealership. The customer experience in working with this dealership was very poor, and at no point did anyone at the dealership apologize or even ask about our experience. I think this dealership's attitude toward customer service is shown even in the response to these reviews - only the positive reviews get a reply (all 1 or 2 star reviews have no reply). I would highly encourage anyone living in SF choosing between this Subaru dealership and the Oakland dealership to work with Oakland over this one.
