There is no open waiting room for people waiting to board the train and no restroom you are standing outside and there is no place to sit but a concrete waiting path.

For me this is the only way I travel. Amtrak is convenient & comfortable 4 traveling. Sometimes the layovers can b long but, it a great 2 travel if u don't want 2 drive. It about the same amount of time.

Questions & Answers

Can a child 13 and 16 ride the Amtrak train by themselves from Greenwood to downtown Chicago

Lateekah Floyd | Jul 8, 2021
Kim Floyd | Jul 9, 2021

I'm not sure you could always put them on the lower level and have them sit together and tell the director to keep eye on them cause they check throughout the night but I think you have to be at least 18 to ride By yourself but it will be a good thing to check because going from Chicago to Greenwood is overnight Just to be safe

Where can I park for 3 days

It wouldn't be recommended to leave your car at the station. The area is not secure enough regularly.

The City of New Orleans runs between New Orleans and Chicago. There are no Amtrak routes through Nashville.
