Vigorous hike going up, pace yourself. Walking sticks are recommended. Very long hike if you want to spend the day. Very much worth it. Parking is very limited.

There's free parking at the base. I tracked it to be about 3 miles going from the base, through the trail, back to the street and walking back to the base. I'd say it's a medium challenge. I personally found it more rigorous going down than up.

Beautiful weekend for a hike at 70-75 degrees & this is a picturesque place as it winds up into The Tree People which is just off of Coldwater & Mulholland Drive. Lots of dogs 🐕 with their peoples in all shapes & sizes.
