We intended to float the Duck Head. Unfortunately, we immediately noticed fallen trees appeared to be blocking the route. We were able to enjoy several hours going in the opposite direction of the river.

GREASERAMA BABY!! Every year I go and every year I have such a great time. Great vendors and the swap meet is great. Always leave with a few things. Rat fink tshirt always get a greaserama tshirt and more. Lots dress in pinup style and oh boy the cars. I live it here. Live music all day all night. Never want to leave. Price you get in is great. I cant say nothing wrong about it. Amazing time. Great ppl and always great cars.

Where or how is that special use permit obtained for the group camping on the Northside? Are there any "facilities" there or does the group have to go into town to find or use those?
Not that I know of. There's a sign on HH hwy a mile or so east of Platte City.
Mostly hybrid sunfish, sm bass and catfish. Clinic pond 1 is deeper and seems to have bigger fish but both are stocked.
Pick a spot, it's a great area. If you are coming from the south, I take the 2nd exit from 29 and hunt that side
It's fair. A lot of hunters go there. Turkey is harder to find.
