Basketball Courts, Venice Beach

I have been coming to Venice Beach since 15 years ago and I love coming here ! I have came by myself , with boyfriends , family , friends and now recently that I have kids with my babies (7,5) ! The kids love it here ❤️❤️❤️they have this park that’s hidden it’s towards the basketball courts and next to the police station and it’s so nice ! They have swings and two big playgrounds ❤️ it’s located next to the beach and in the summer time is so nice to walk over there and get in the water 💦🙌🏽 Right now March 2021 because of COVID the basketball courts are closed but they have transformed it to a rollerblading and skating court lol of course and everyone brings music and they dance and skate it’s so awesome 👏 Bring a blanket and people watch ! I love meeting people so I always end up talking so many people when I come here lol 🤦🏽‍♀️The only thing is there is a lot of homeless people living on the boardwalk / beach and sometimes is scary when they start fighting or yelling 🤦🏽‍♀️ But as long as you mind your business you will be fine ! I always bring food and drinks for the kids but if you don’t they have everything just be prepared to pay a lot for it ! Ice cream 🍦 cone $5 dollars , hotdogs $5 , fruit cup ,$5 , pizza 2-4 dollars . Make sure you bring cash and have fun !!!! ( so many stores and shops ) Oh almost forgot the parking used to be $20 dollars but now On Rose ( which is the main parking for Venice it’s only $9 dollars !!!!!!!! Which is a miracle lol 😂 And at night time is gets windy bring a sweater ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Okay 👌🏽 there you go !

Great experience but I wish the homeless had an area so that they don't bathe in public view

It great out at the courts the weather was perfect. I got in a few games grabbed a couple of taco from one of the many vendors. Hit a dispensary on the way home as ice cube would say ( today was a good day ) 😂

Great place to visit and get some good basketball games in. Watching is fun too. If your visiting it’s definitely a spot to check off your list of things to do in LA.
