I showed up on a walk with my service animal to get a refill on my cup of coffee and without asking if he was a service animal, a lady working there called out and said dogs are not allowed in the shop. There were no signs on the outside even stating that pets weren’t allowed, much less ESAs. This is a huge overstep and actually illegal to deny service animals access. I just left without my coffee per what we are instructed to do in the ESA registration. However, I will be following up with the business owner to educate their staff on how to interact with customers and what it means for someone to have a service animal, including what those rights actually entail. 0/5 stars today ma’am.

Top notch bagels and service. Fellow was so nice after I came in as an out of towner sweat tornado. Breakfast bagel was top drawer with extra cheese on top

Just visited Star Bagel for the first time. I was thrilled with the quality of not only my bagel, but also the selection of cream cheeses and coffee offerings. They even had a sugar-free vanilla syrup for their coffee for those watching their sugar intake like myself. Our family will definitely be back and we felt VERY safe there. Not sure what other reviewers were talking about saying the employees were not wearing masks and PPE, they definitely are. (And I have the pics to prove it! Check them out!) It will be a regular weekend breakfast spot for us in the future! I was talking to the guy making the coffees and he said they've been around 40 years, so if you're looking for a REAL DEAL LOCAL breakfast, this is it! #eatlocal
