Incredible time here from start to finish! The hosts here really know how to create a unique dining experience unlike any other, and the food was AMAZING! 10/10 for vegan or not.

This place is absolutely delicious. I murdered my whole plate! They have vegan and non-vegan options. I had the jerk chicken, smoked portabello, spiced smoked cabbage and hot water cornbread. It was all amazing. The cabbage is definitely spicy! Please visit Veggie Village if you want a delicious meal, great/friendly, personal service in an eclectic and artistic atmosphere.

This place is amazing. The owners make it their personal goal to serve you while you are there to give you a personal experience. The chef cooks food better than I’ve tasted in Nashville. He also comes to the table to make sure you enjoy it. Lunch is perfect, but that’s not even the best part. You have to reserve dinner a day before, but if you are looking for the best three course dining experience you’ve ever had then I suggest you do it. It’s BYOB and the chef takes request for what you want to eat hours before you come. You also have the option of letting the chef surprise you with a 3 course meal. They are always respectful of your own personal diet. The chef sometimes cooks your food for 4-6hours at a time, having it ready by the time you get there. Authentic Jamaican food available if you are up for the spice. Overall the best dining experience I’ve had in a while. Gail and “chef ridiculous” are great people and love making their customers happy.

Tucked just off of Rosa L. Parks Blvd is a quaint house that has been turned into a Caribbean restaurant. Upon walking in the door you are approached by odd sensation as it feels as if you have unknowingly walked into someone else's house, but moments later all becomes well as one of the owners come and greets you. With a smile she gives you a run down of the restaurant that she and her husband have created. The restaurant utilizes the rooms to allow for 3 different atmospheres, and the freedom to sear yourself allows you to explore before choosing which you will dine in. The restaurant is farm to table, so the menu changes daily to accompany the vegetables that they are able to obtain from the market. We went on a Friday for which the theme was Fish. The chef, Chef Ridiculous, grew up perfecting the taste texture of vegan/vegetarian meat substitutes. The food is made to order and the chef visits the table to meet who he is cooking for and to gauge how spicy he needs to make it. We ordered the jerk "chicken" and vegan fish sandwich with the jamican rice and peas, and the mecca greens as sides. The Jerk chicken was wonderfully complex while still keeping that heat to let you know where it came from. The fish sandwich was bright and clean, with a texture and flavour that was scary close to the real thing. The star of the show were the mecca greens had a sweet, bitter, and tangy flavour that made me take the portion from my partner. The atmosphere and the owners are one of a kind and worth spending an hour or so with as you taste the craft that they have been honing for years.
