I unfortunately had to go to the hospital because I had a infection on my toe. As soon as I get there Nick Nishijima greeted me with a smile. He was always checking up on me. He did a great job explaining what he was going to do before he did anything. I recommend Scripps to everyone. Thank you again Nick for all you do.

Jazmine at the front desk is awesome! It was a very difficult stressful situation and she went out of her way to be helpful. Sadly, that’s rare these days. I noticed the way she interacted with others too. You can tell that she actually cares about people and takes pride in her job. I met other great staff members at Scripps. Overall had a pleasant experience during my family’s time there. But, I just had to give Jazmine a shout out because she really brightened my day. Thank you Jazmine, we will never forget the kindness and compassion you showed our family!

One star for doctors 5 star for employees. Came for twisted ankle problem and after x-ray done they put me waiting room waiting doctor for checking my x- Ray for more then 1 hour. Never back for encinitas if you have emergency situation.

Didn't have to be this horrible of an experience. My son and daughter-in-law just delivered their first baby at Scripps. They went into the hospital in active labor, and were sent home because she wasn't dilated enough for them to admit her (3 cm). She was in misery and had to persevere in a bath tub for another 2 hours before they would let her come back. In 2022 all of the health care providers and hospitals lead you astray with all the options for a less painful labor experience, but what they don't tell you is that you have to reach certain thresholds to qualify. Simply being honest with people to let them know that would make a world of difference. None of us will EVER recommend Scripps or any of it's providers to anyone. The experience was so horrible that they are terrified of ever having a baby again. It's not the 1800s Scripp. New Moms don't have to go through literally agonizing delivery experiences and have a choice. It WON'T be you, ever again.

Hi there, we recommend calling 1-800-SCRIPPS and a team member will be able to help you with this.
We accept Molina Marketplace HMO. You can read more about insurance accepted by Scripps at https://www.scripps.org/patients-and-visitors/health-insurance-options/health-insurance-plans-accepted-at-scripps
We recommend calling the location directly and a team member will be able to help you with this.
Hi Zhila, yes we do. Please call 1-800-SCRIPPS for any specific questions you may have.
I would start by calling the medical records department. you may need to fill out a form which may be on the hospital's website or they can email it to you. That is usually how you can get access to your MRI on a desk. They may want to charge you a small fee like 25 or $50.
Scripps is offering the COVID-19 vaccine to eligible patients with a MyScripps account. We have a limited supply available at this time, so appointments are being offered on a first-come, first-served basis through MyScripps. Eligibility is based on California state guidelines. Additional appointment slots will be added as more vaccines become available. Please do not call your physician’s office as they cannot schedule these vaccines.
Hi Yoriko, you will receive a notification through your MyScripps account when you are eligible to receive the vaccine. The app will prompt you as to where the vaccine is being administered.
Call the hospital and ask to speak with the nurse caring for the patient. That's what I did last week, everyday. Call back if the nurse don't return your call, they are busy! You can always ask to transfer to the patient room as well, if patient is able to answer. Good luck!
Hi Robbie, we encourage you to consult with your physician directly.
not anymore, no. :(
Yes, it does.
They are very well qualified at this facility, and will be able to help you, also let me recommend Dr. Perry Sexton, he specializes in addictions, and his office is across the street. Best wishes to you.
Ur primary might be able to suggest somebody if not. U should call Medicare and ask
I would imagine that an admitted patient could arrange with a discharge coordinator for home health. But uncertain. Depending on your level of care needed, you could try a company called "Grace Care".
Hi Mike, we are not quite sure what your question is. Please let us know and we will do our very best to assist you.
The chaplains have an understanding about many world religions and also know religious heads in the community so they can get you in touch with other religious leaders as well sometimes.

Directly to the left of the main entrance. If you need assistance getting from the parking lot to the hospital Scripps has shuttles (golf carts). The main entrance reception can call a shuttle to your car or get a wheelchair for you. It's best to drop off by the main entrance if you have mobility issues.
Waiting room on surgery floor. Call main phone number and ask
