Sophisticated Gentleman

Yesterday I picked up a birthday cake that I ordered from this very ACME for myself and one of my cats. She and I were born on the same day........ but in 2 different years. This cake was delicious. The cake can't compete with birthday cakes bought from actual bakeries. Generally speaking, bakery cakes are better than supermarket cakes. However, in it's own right, the bakery inside this ACME produce good cakes. When I ordered the cake, I was treated with respect by this bakery's customer service. When I returned for the cake, I was treated with respect by this bakery's customer service. Because I was treated with respect both times by the customer service in this ACME's bakery, and because the cake for my cat and I was good......... I give this ACME'S bakery 4 out of 5 stars. I recommend this ACME's bakery.

I was impressed with the Acme on 1400 Passyunk Avenue. It’s a lovely supermarket with great produce as well as a great selection of everything from kosher for Passover products to pasta! It seems to be the only large supermarket in this neighborhood!

Love this acme, go here all the time to get groceries it is right around the corner from my house. Staff always friendly and ready to help, and everything is usually organized pretty well.
