Avoid, if you're able to. Last time I went to this Safeway I witnessed 2 people leave the store without paying. & The crazy part was, No one Stopped them! I definitely didn't feel safe, I mean, if they're not gonna stop, clear, shoplifters do they even have security? Would someone stop a person if they were causing problems? I'm not too confident they would. Just drive, literally, like a minute up 395 & there's a Fred Meyer. I would say it's the better choice!

Pathetic how terrible service is in this store. Then they took out the prime parking spots where elderly parked close to store but didn't have a handicap tag yet, and put in that pick up grocery places which they could have put them ANY OTHER spot in parking lot. They didn't want their employees to have to to walk so far to load groceries but yet their elderly customers that have trouble walking. can just walk from the way farther spots in parking lot. What's wrong with the managers that run this store. The check out lines are a joke. People standing all over to get through lines. One man today just set his groceries on floor and walked out, another just left basket food set in line and walked out.... this was supposedly the FAST lane. Wish so bad a decent grocery store would come to town and run this place out of business

This Safeway is pretty much always busy. The staff keep it clean, though. And they are pretty good at having an appropriate amount of cashiers available, too. Safeway is always hit or miss on deals and such, but they keep the stables within an affordable range. Keep in mind that Safeway is a chain and they do not have a lot of control over that. I really wish that it would be open later into the night, so that some folks could avoid the crowds.
