Great pulled pork and fried catfish. The brisket was a bit dry but wasn't too bad either. The front of the restaurant has great views of Chatuge Lake.

The BBQ chicken was melt in your mouth tender. I had red skin potato salad and macaroni and cheese for my two sides and it was more than I could eat. There's a great view of Lake Chatuge from the patio and the front row of booths inside the restaurant. The wait staff was very friendly.

Host was very polite, there was a short wait, but the lake view made up for it. Waited on quickly, sweet tea, soda and an appetizer. Tea came w/o ice, had to wait for ice. Then tea wasn't sweet, no waitress to be found. Different girl brought lunch, still no app. Asked for Sweet tea and app. Girl 2 brought app, still no tea. Girl 1 finally brought sweet tea and left w/o refilling wife's empty soda. By the time girl 1 came to refill soda, my tea was gone. Guess what, brought me a glass of unsweetened tea again. Pulled pork was tasty but not pulled well. 50/50 meat/fat. Home fries limp, baked beans dry. Really feel sorry for the man hosting, probably the owner. He was hosting and cleaning tables while his help wasn't getting it done. Unfortunately, same story everywhere. P)

Great portions and absolutely delicious. We had the 1/2 chicken plate with fries and beans and the 8oz brisket plate with onion rings and mac and cheese. They forgot to give us our texas toast but the meal was still good. The sides taste homemade and were so amazingly great. The chicken and brisket were tasty and left us with lunch for tomorrow even after giving the dog a little bite of each. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back, so worth it!
