For the HO collector, this store is amazing!!! Everything you would want for any type of layout they have it here. Staff is friendly and asked several times if we needed any help.

The Best stocked train store for HO/N and other scales that is close to me. The Large scale trains can be found next door at Milepost. Arnie's carries all the name brands and their prices are on par with everyone else...some higher, some lower than others. Friendly staff, working layouts. Good selection of everything.

They buy locomotives and rolling stock and, as far as I know, they also do repairs. I recommend calling for details like pricing and offers.

Yeah, they have a repair service where you can bring any model train and they'll upgrade or repair it!

They do not but Milepost does right next door!
Yeap. If they don't have in house experts for gauge or make they work with a specialist to get you running again. But accept that they will tell you if such repair is advisable. Repairs can cost more than a new or used item that runs.
As far as sales go... There are all sorts of great finds and deals here, and if you're paying cash for a package deal including several used items out sure wouldn't hurt to ask for a few bucks off - ther owner it's a very affable and friendly person
