Awful office. Sent them application for IDP. Check was cashed 2 weeks ago, still no IDP. Tried to call them - they don't bother answering the phone.

I visited this place today for notary services. Employees were in good spirits exchanging roses and strawberries. They were super friendly and even accommodative of my 6yr old daughter. This is definitely much different from my other AAA experience before.

Fantastic Customer Service! I went in to have modifications made to an insurance policy and was delighted with the competency, helpfulness and friendliness of Torin. A great agent makes all the difference! Thank you!

Why wouldnt you be a AAA member? I went there to renew my registration instead of spending a day at the DMV. Other than a short wait...WOW! Sooo convenient. I mentioned offhand that I was planning to get disabled plates for my car (already have a placard), and the rep said, "we have them. Just bring in yours, and we trade them out." Luckily, another customer offered to use his tools to get them off, and they gave me new plates on the spot! No DMV line, no mailing my plates while waiting for new ones, and No charge! The roadside service is also legendary. Get AAA!!

I work there. All you need is your valid driver's license. We have the applications and can take photos there for you.
Yes, they can. Almost any DMV transaction. Except drivers license.
You only need to have the car there if you're bringing the vehicle into California from another state. You will need the mileage if the car is 2010 or newer
Yes as long as the registered owner is a member of AAA and is present, you can do both
DMV services are walk in only, first come first serve. Appointment can only be made for Insurance, Travel and Notary service. Best practice is to show up at least 30 mins before close for DMV services.
Yes. Price depends on your level of membership. $10 plus tax for a set of 2 photos is the highest price for members.
No Poway AAA does not do the REAL ID. To get the REAL ID at AAA you need to start the process on the DMV website first. Fill out the application and upload all required documents. Then you can make an appointment to go to the San Diego Clairemont AAA to finish the process. You must start online first and you must have an appointment to do it at AAA. They will not take a walk in for REAL ID. You can pick up detailed instructions on how to accomplish this at your local branch.

Yes, if you have AAA membership. And no, you don't need an appointment but it helps. Still much faster and easier. And, you don't have to deal with grouchy employees.
They accept credit cards for some things. For DMV fees they tack on a surcharge to cover processing fees by the CC companies.
No you do not need a smog in that circumstance
You can pay your registration about 60 days early
Yes they can bring car with you
I know that they will not be able to give you a real ID. Probably best to give them a call.
Yes. However any DMV chargers must be paid by cash or check. There are two ATM's one standalone and one in a Quick Mart
If you got your registration at AAA then your registration card says how much you paid, how you paid it(cash, check, ect.) and when you paid it.
Yes
Approximately 4-6 weeks
No. All vehicle licences must be done through the DMV
No. They are closed for the holiday. They will be open tomorrow 9am-5pm
AAA will be closed on Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
No just walk in to AAA in your area and they will help you install a car seat
At the Sabre Springs location they have at least 3 agents speak spanish. Enrique, Cathy, and Pete. Ask for any of them and they can help you.
Yes. All domestic tourbooks and maps are free with membership and available at this office.
I'm sorry. Love AAA, Don't know that answer. Give them a call. They will assist you in obtaining an answer, and possibly assist you where that can be done. They have always gone above what they can do.!!
Cash only for all DMV services. AAA takes cash or debit when paying for insurance
Probably somg certificate. I sure would first start with a membership no matter what. It offers roadside assistance
They can change your address in the system by mailing in the application you fill out there. However if you need it to change on your physical drivers license then yes you need to go to the dmv for that. You can also fill out the form online at the DMV web site which is processed much faster than doing it through the mail at AAA
They do not do appointments for those. You just go and check in and they will assist you once you are called up. Saturdays are really busy so be prepared to wait up to 1hr. All you need is a drivers license, the application which can be found online or in the AAA office, and two passport style photos which can be taken at AAA if needed.
No!
You usually can pay registration around 60 days prior to the expiration date at the earliest so you are good to go.
No...only the DMV issues REAL ID cards.
I just looked on AAA website. Only DMV can issue drivers license renewals and new licenses. Don't wait too long....make an appointment right away.
Yes. If you are a member of AAA and have insurance with them. AAA will extend travelers insurance. Also, double check with your friend's insurance company to be safe.
Yes. They have a notary during all business hours even Saturday.
You need to get a smog certificate, if you have this, then yes you can get tags at AAA
Yes
I think they only handle limited DMV services for the benefit of their members. You should call them directly to find out if ID name change is among their offered sevices.
