Don't waste your time (or your gas money) driving out to Rutherford Farms if you are looking for some already picked strawberries. I tried calling them before driving out there because I had never been there before, but nobody answered the phone. So after checking their website to see what hours they are open and to check if they have strawberries, I figured I'd take the drive out there to go buy some. The website says, "The strawberries are $1.50/pound if you pick them and the pre-picked berries are $15 for 4 quarts (bucket included)." But NOWHERE does it say that you can't buy a bucket that have already been picked. Even though they have them sitting there on the counter you have to call several days ahead and PRE-ORDER them. I wish that they would state that on their website because I am disabled and unable to pick my own, so I wasted my time and all that gas money for nothing.

Cute place. Nice for small children. They will pick your strawberries for you. Or you can. it is a $1.50 a pound. You can also buy a bucket to put them in for a $1.00. Or bring your own. Really nice strawberries. Sweet and tangy.

The berries are delicious. They’re tiny, but juicy. You pay $1 for a big bucket then you pick your own berries. We had 2 buckets that were half full and it was only $12. It was A LOT of berries! Worth the drive!

We had a pretty good time picking strawberries this morning. It's muddy so wear shoes that can get pretty messy. The berries are priced per lb and very reasonable. I got a pile of berry's for $13 and my friend got 2 half full baskets for $3.75. They sell berry baskets for $1 if you don't want to bring your own. I'd come back to Rutherford Farms. If I had to say one thing negative, it'd be the man at check in put off condescending vibes and it wasn't a good first impressions.... Moving past him though the rest of the was very pleasant. GO EARLY!! We were there at 9am and lots of berry's had already been picked!!

It's over for this year. Around early May next year is when strawberries 🍓 come back in.
$15 a pail and they supply a pail.
Definitely call in advance so they know how much will be needed, then to hold it for you.
Absolutely🙂 My husband, Aaron Rutherford, and I run the summer vegetable garden. We currently have beautiful white half runner beans and a variety of tomatoes that will be ready next week. We will have corn a bit later in the season. We currently have beets. Sweet potatoes are planted but not yet ready for harvest. We did have mixed greens, however we are presently out of them. There are many other veggies we provide based on the time of year and would be happy to provide you with a complete list and times of year for availability as well as the opportunity to be registered on the sign up sheets to be contacted when the veggie or fruit of your choice comes in. We would also be happy to place orders for any veggies we are currently harvesting. My husband and myself will also be at the downtown Maryville farmers market on Saturdays. Please call #865-518-1311 and we will be delighted to provide our services and answer any questions🙂
We were there yesterday and there are many on the vines and from what we saw a lot will be ready this week and this upcoming weekend.
1.50 lb if you pick. Bring your own container or buy a clean container for a dollar.
No it's really hard to find rhubarb this far south it will not grow real well. It gets too hot for it..
