Jefferies is hands down the best wood destination out there. An enormous selection of different species of wood at great prices. The owners Cynthia and Bob are absolutely phenomenal, helpful and have the kindest souls ever. All in all, the entire experience is priceless. Highly recommend for all your specialty wood needs!

This place is awesome. Tons of variety of species and cuts all visibly labeled. Prices are transparent and very fair. They even label the board feet on each board so you know exactly how much it will cost. They also sell off cuts for cheap in case you had a small project where you might want an inlay or just need an assortment of random pieces. They will have my business for a long time

A wide selection of domestic and exotic woods at a great price. A woodturners paradise. The boards are labeled which makes it very easy to see what is what and how much it costs. I will definitely stop here again on my next trip to Gatlinburg.

Excellent selection. Great people. Reasonable prices. I bought a lot of red oak to make two wood walls.

We are currently CLOSED FOR Spring Break. We OPEN Tuesday April 13th 2021 at 10am. We are an open warehouse with lots ventilation and room to distance. We have disposable masks available, hand sanitizer on the counter, and of course soap and hot water for frequent hand washing. Thanks!
They do. Best to call ahead and they'll put it aside for you
Cypress or mahogany might work.. but your best bet is call or go there and talk to them..
Thanks Matt you're absolutely right. The kiln dried ipe we have on hand is for furniture making and other types of fine joinery. We do order decking products and are happy to do so. Doug, just let me know what size you want a price on! Cynthia Jeffries
Jeffries just sells wood .. just about any variety you would want... they can cut longer pieces down and can joint and plane for a fee ... they probably can put you in touch with some good "turners "
I believe they do. Just call Cindy or Bob.
I know they have 3/4. You need to call them. Bob and Cindy are great to work with.
I've never seen hand tools for sale there. It's a warehouse for domestic and some exotic hardwood lumber, slabs, and turning blanks. There is a Woodcraft store on Kingston Pike that certainly has carving tools though.
