I like the concept of a small music venue...this is too small. We bought tickets to see Spank- an 80s band. The band was alright...not amazing but, got through some great songs and was interactive with the crowd which is always fun! The tables were dirty, the service sporadic and they only had one bartender all night (she did her best and was amazing...she needed help). I know people are short staffed but, this was a borderline mediocre experience. However, they gave out free fries at the end of the night which was great!!!

After a failed repair attempt at another local music store, I brought my Japanese Aria Pro II bass to Open Chord upon a recommendation from a friend. I was having some major issues with the neck, frets and tuning. I talked with their technician, Eddie Prado, and left it for him to diagnose and repair. Eddie was very professional and really on point with everything. He got my bass back to playing and sounding like new, and I'm very delighted. He was very honest and upfront with all the work and costs. The repair ended up costing less than i anticipated. Eddie is the man and will take care of you! Thanks Eddie! J

This was my first time visiting Open Chord. My brother hosted the blues jam for Friday night! It was absolutely amazing! I took my 4 year old with me and I think he had more fun than I did. Food was good, drinks were great! Highly recommend!

This place is just absolutely amazing. One of my favorite music venues! The staff is friendly and just awesome as well. Not to mention they have a very respectful amount of high quality music instruments and supplies on hand. I highly recommend, Almost insist, you experience this place!!! The band picture, Just in case you Live under a rock, is Frank Solivan and Dirty Kitchen!!!!!! They are freaking awesome!
