I'm always surprised by the range of items they have at this small store. It's a lifesaver when we're half way through making a recipe and realize we're missing an ingredient. Excellent pre-made throw in the oven meals in the back freezers are some of my favorites from there.

The store sells fresh meats and fine cheeses, and the diner attached to it has hand spun shakes and hand patted hamburgers. What a delightful thing to preserve. One of the oldest businesses in Saluda.

Thompson's Grocery Market & Grill is a very interesting place. It's takes you back to a wonderful place in time. My wife and myself enjoyed the conversation with the people working here. They took the time to make us feel appreciated, just for stopping in. How could you not want to enjoy a bite to eat in an atmosphere like this place has? There are so many reasons to love this place.
