We just had an absolutely unbelievable time white water rafting! Jack was the best tour guide. We could not be more happy with the entire experience. We will definitely be back!

Loved the experience of white water rafting for the first time and want to plan another trip already with Southeastern Expeditions. Chip was the best guide my group could have and he made the experience stress free. None of us went swimming despite our lack of experience.

We had a wonderful trip with Southeastern Expeditions. Chip was our tour guide and he was fantastic. He gave great instructions and was very knowledgeable about the river. The rest of the support crew were great, too. Fantastic pictures taken, great lunch, and a top-notch dedication to the safety of the guests. I would highly recommend a ride with this group and hope we can do it again.

I must say that this was an absolute AMAZING experience. This was my first time white water rafting ever and I did the section IV. I could not have asked for a better experience. I felt extremely safe with all of the guides, especially our guide Billy. This company is very safe and set up every rapid with guides to ensure the entire groups safety. The guides know the river and are very accommodating to all skill levels. The photographs are set up with a photographer along the river and easily air dropped to your phone upon purchase. I highly recommend South Eastern Expeditions and can't wait to experience this again. Thanks for an A+++ GREAT time!!!!

No more than 6 people to a raft. Your group of 11 will need to split into a group of 5 and 6. In some cases of very small trips or low water on section 3 you may be split into smaller groups for lighter boats.
Yes. You will have a raft guide directing you all day. You will go out with another group of people. I hope you're going soon because the water is up. Ask for rob, Tim or molly
I would think so. The parking is on the side of road. Imagine a 2 lane road 75 yards long with cars parked on both sides of the road. Thats the parking lot.
We read that they will try to reschedule, but provide a refund if unable. We did raft in the rain some, and heard some thunder. The lightening showed in the distance as we were finishing, so they did hurry off the river, but we were already done.
Southeastern is a great company. Best safety protocols I've ever run into. Be ready to hike and I mean hike. Trip is about $100 and well worth it if you can go down bull sluice
You may be allowed to self guide on a section 3 trip along side other guided rafts and within the trip. You can also rent a raft for section 3 and do your own trip. Guides are required for section 4 trips when going through the local outfitters but anyone can float section 4 on their own private trip with their own gear. Doing so is not advisable if you don't have the skills or knowledge of the run. Also, having at least another boat on your private trip is highly recommended though no longer required.
Not a staff member but if they are open you'll have a great time. Call them, if they are still open for season they will answer. You can also register and pay online. They have their calendar schedule attached to it so you would see what dates they are open.
Section 3 trips the age limit is 8. On Section 4 trips the age limit is 12. Please give me a shout if I can get you booked in or answer and more questions. Thanks, Brent
