Great park for walking, pinics and grilling. They have plenty of picnic tables and grills with a nice view of the water. Plenty of things for kids like swings, sliding and climbing bats. I heard it used to be an amusement park and beach back to the 1800s. Interesting history!

Wonderful place to view the sunset and enjoy an early moonrise. So impressed !!!

Love this park! It’s really nice. A beautiful view of the river and it’s relaxing. Perfect for a walk and watching the sunset on the water. There’s a tree I like to sit in.

Beautiful park, well maintained, great view. We were traveling through and needed a place to let the kids run. This was perfect. After playing, we just sat at the Riverside and talked. What a perfect place.

I would think dawn to dusk.
There are personalized bricks that people have bought used as a sidewalk and runs along the gazebo in the park. It's called the Memorial Brick Program. The cost of each brick runs around $40. Not sure if they are still doing it. You'd have to contact the Pennsville, NJ Recreation Dept.
Fishing is allowed but would not recommend consuming any
We did ask a few people just a few mins ago & they said "Yes, bc rain is s suppose to stop." Fingers & toes are crossed.
No they are next Saturday night
It's just a little over a mile

I grew up in this town and was always in this park either fishing in the lake it the river as a child, I'm not sure how many acres this park is but the track is just s little over a mile. The park is a good place to bring your children it has a nice playground and you can also have cookouts here as well. They do have the basketball courts and tennis courts. There are a couple pavilions also. A short drive will take you to several places to eat. The view of the Delaware is nice. You'll also meet friendly people either walking, running, it just taking their dog out for a walk. Go enjoy. 😃
they have grills there, not sure if they are used because most people bring their own, they do have strict rules regarding grilling though
I wasn't alive at the time to see the area in its heyday, unfortunately, but I do know the amusement park there shut down in 1967, which would be my guess for when the ice rink was shut down as well.
