We had a wonderful experience! The instructor was friendly and attentive checking on all of us as we made our pieces offering assistance if needed. We made two pieces and got to select a glaze color. They'll be ready for pick up in about 2-weeks. I would highly recommend - would do this again in a heartbeat!!

Had the most amazing time taking the beginner class! The space is stunning and the small class size takes away the intimidation and makes it easier to learn. Lydia was an incredible instructor, so patient and reassuring, hands-on and wanting you to really understand and feel the concepts she was relaying. Can’t wait to sign up for more and explore this area of art!!

My husband and I attended an Intro to Pottery class together and absolutely loved it. We made two pieces each ($20 extra to keep both pieces for each of us), and the process was amazingly fun and relaxing. I loved how Kirsten guided us with simple and thorough directions to using a potter’s wheel. She was very helpful, hands on, and gave us a brief education about what we were actually doing! She helped us fix little mistakes, but also let us explore & didn’t perfect the pieces for us… Wonky bits were allowed to be wonky and imperfect, and we were able to truly create our own individual pieces. We chose one of four glazes, and the team at Hollowed Earth will fire & glaze them for us, to be picked up later! I love how they reclaim clay from classes to be reused, and have an open and welcoming space for all. One of the owners, Mark, chatted with us and walked us around the studio on a little impromptu tour. The people at Hollowed Earth are the sweetest, and they truly made us feel welcome and comfortable right from the get-go. I’ve already scheduled another class to bring my sisters for a girls’ night out! Can’t wait to be back!

I brought my 8yo daughter here for a Mommy/Daughter date night. We did the beginner class and had a blast. My daughter has a passion for art but I was nervous that it would still be too advanced for her. It was the perfect exposure for her to pottery. Our instructor was very helpful, patient, fun, and engaging with us and the other 6 attendees. We will definitely be going back.
